My name is Kendra Rahne. I am a mom and a wife and an online network marketer. This page will give you a chance to learn more about who I am and about my journey into MLM. The decision to start a network marketing business is more than choosing a company that is the right fit for you. It is also about choosing a sponsor who is committed to your success and will support you and help you achieve your goals.
How I view my business--
I take my MLM business very seriously. I am committed to my success and the success of my team members. I want people on my team who are willing to commit the time and energy necessary to obtain their goals, keeping in mind that everyone has different goals. I also want people who are committed to personal and professional development. You do not have to have previous experience to succeed in network marketing but you must be willing and open to learn.
I recognize that network marketing is not for everyone. I also recognize that a network marketing company needs to be the right fit for you. I will not pressure anyone into joining me in this opportunity. However, I do enjoy talking with people and providing them with information they need to make an educated decision about network marketing and the company I am with.
I am not offering a "get rich quick scheme." I am offering a legitimate home based business opportunity. Your business will not work itself. It will take some effort on your part. How much effort? That depends on your goals. Some people are looking to make a few extra hundred dollars a month. Others hope to replace their current income and have complete financial and time freedom. Whatever your goals, I am happy to show you how they can be achieved!
I am primarily an online network marketer but can coach you and show you how to build your business through other avenues such as home parties, fundraisers, vendor shows, etc. There are so many fun and exciting ways to work and build your business, which is one of the things that attracted me to this company!
My commitment to team members--
I am committed to your success. I am not the type of sponsor who will sign you up and leave you hanging. My goal is to help you achieve your goals. When you become a distributor, you will receive your Roadmap to Success to get you on the fast track to success. I have also designed a series of e-mails to help new distributors get through the initial first weeks. Expect to receive weekly coaching calls from me when you first start and we will work together identifying your goals and designing a business plan with action steps you can take to obtain those goals. And remember, help is just a phone call or e-mail away. I promise to do my best to answer your questions. If I don't have an answer, I will find it for you or point you in the right direction.
My Journey to MLM--
Network marketing is a something I never thought I'd do. In fact I didn't know much about it and how it worked. I was familiar with a few of the big company names like Mary Kay, Avon, and Pampered Chef that have been around for decades. But I never saw myself working in this industry.
So what changed my mind? Well, I wanted to be a stay at home mom, but my husband and I were finding that money was tight each month. Sound familiar?
We talked about me getting a job outside the home, but we did the math. Despite having a university degree, I had not worked in my field of study in over ten years. So, I knew I would be starting at an entry-level position. By the time we factored in the cost of childcare and transportation, I'd be making next to nothing. It didn't seem worth the emotional stress it would take on our family--trying to figure out the logistics of each day plus the time apart.
We also talked about me finding a part-time job in the evenings and on weekends, but my husband's schedule was not conducive to this idea. Sometimes he worked days; sometimes he worked evenings; and sometimes he did both. So again, the logistics of it hardly made it seem worth the time and effort. Plus, my husband would have to give up some of his current work.
So what could I do to earn an income and continue to stay at home with my kids? I turned to the internet.
Wow! There are a lot of 'opportunities' out there when you type in phrases such as "work at home" or "earn money from home." I searched with caution, and I recommend you do so as well because there are a lot of scams out there. Yes, the idea of making a lot of money in a short amount of time was appealing, but I knew better.
There are many network marketing companies, but I didn't see myself as a sales person. Plus, the high cost of some starter kits was a huge turn off.
One day I found a company that intrigued me. It offered products that I already used in my home, had a start up kit for under $50, and would allow me to work my business in several ways. It wasn't strictly a home party plan.
